1. Send out invitations (e-mail or paper) to your guests. There are a variety of free web invitations that can also be used.
(ie. http://www.mypunchbowl.com/ , http://www.evite.com/)
2. Include the website so that guests can browse the catalogue ahead of time www.babygiggles.webs.com
3. Make sure that guests are aware of payment options:
cash, cheque (must clear before delivery of product) or Paypal (where you can use credit card).
(we use Paypal so that guests can use their credit card for products, but the number is not made public)
4. If guests are using paypal (http://www.paypal.com/), have them set up an account prior to the party, so that payment can be made that day and orders can go in that night. Setting up paypal accounts are free and completely secure.
5. Plan to have snacks and beverages at your party. If having a baby shower, plan some fun activities as well! There are many websites on the web dedicated to shower activities.
